Michael and Lincoln are Brother right ? how come Lincoln surname is BURROWSand Michael is SCOFIELD ???

Because Michael's father abondoned his family, Michael has to live with his mother , got the name of his mum,and burrows got the name from his father.

I think they explain that in one of the season 1 eps, it's been a while since I've watched S1.

no.. he met his father briefly when he was 10.
aldo abandoned them earlier than that.. as far as i can recall

been a while since i've seen season1 too.

I can't exactly say, but I think in Bolshoi Booze they revealed some background info.

So that is the answer, that Michael went living with his mom? I didn't really get that while watching but I remember Michael saying to Lincoln in the prison church :"that is not how she raised us...", so they must have lived together with her mom until she died.
Or did Michael just take her name to cover his tracks? Is that so easy in the United States?

Hi!! I think but 'm not complete sure that the reason is because he was maybe adopted or domething like that. The mother was also Rose Burrow.
