Signature Rules - New Members Read

Hey Guys,

I wanted to personally welcome everyone who came over from PBF. If you had any issues with the transfer please let me know.

Anyway I wanted to make everyone aware of our signature rules on the forum. We only allow one image in the sig area no bigger than 400X100.

The rule is meant o help keep the forum loading quickly for everyone. Thanks for your understanding. There will be a one week grace period, after that point we will have to manually remove any signatures that do not comply.

I know this might sound like areally dumb question but in this context, what do you mean by signature etc???

The actual picture image is what he means. Text and things like that don't count. See how i have 4 100x100 icons that is my signature. The text isn't counted, but still try not to go text crazy and have like 8 lines of text in your sig. Hope that helps

Ok, You are referring to message like above that has pic or pics with maybe writing or statement underneath I'm guessing! If so, it makes more sense to me now, thanks!

It's totally understandable. That's why we are giving the week. We realize that some of the rules here are a bit different and want you all to have a chance to adjust. No need to apologize

Actually I found the big pics in the sigs back in pbf quite annoying, so I strongly agree with this rule.

I miss the smilies and the buttons that write the bold tags and quote tags and so on for you. Maybe they are here somewhere, but I haven't found them yet.

I don't really get the spamming of links rule. What determines if the link for a site is spam or if it isn't? The link in my sig doesn't seem to be spam. The link to a site where one can download PB eps very comfortably was considered spam. Why? ( There are links for sites where you can download them, so why is this particular site spam?)

Apart from the things above I quite like it here.

and unfortunately I don't have any photo programm to make this sig smaller

hm....that means that I wont have a sig next week anymore

but of course I understand and accept this rule

Actually, even if I have to cotradict myself, I will miss your sig, too. It's a mighty fine pic of Went and I love the colours.

Hi all

This may sound like an incredibly daft question but how do you go about putting a signature... any signature, personal or otherwise on your page thingy as you send messages? Would appreciate answer in easy steps as I really am a bit duff on a computer!
Love lots of the present sigs on there!!
Also public photo loading... I'm looking ever so flushed and purple looking in the picture you all see now!!! LOL!!!
