I think some of you shouldn't have been so quick to accuse him of not being the real deal. I see no reason why it could not have been Wentworth and yes I realise the chances are it was probably someone on a wind-up but there is also the chance that it is/was actually the man himself. I see nothing in the post that tells me it shouldn't be him so I remain skeptical. I realise this post is fairly old and you've all since moved onto greener pastures however I just thought I'd tell you what I make of the thread (not that anyone cares).

"Hello fans" Sorry, somehow I doubt Wentworth would go online, with a nickname like pbf_michael, and start with "hello fans". I'd expect better from a Princeton graduate.
There are actors who are online, but they confirm it's really them in person, in interviews. To my knowledge Went never confirmed being online, interacting with fans on boards.

Hmm it was pretty late when I made that post and looking at it now it's not the best of posts.

Anyway, if an admin had checked his ip and found out he was based somewhere such as the UK or even Canada then the chances are it's not him. However if the IP is based where they may have been filming at the time then who knows. It is still possible for an admin to see the IP of the poster I'm sure and hopefully it gets done sometime so we can put an end to the matter.

In terms of the language used I can easily imagine Went using language like that in real life however even so maybe he was just in a rush which is perhaps why he used the terminology he did in the post.

I don't deny that the post may be slightly fishy but I'm just not too quick to judge with these kinds of things as I have been on forums before when members of the cast have visited and posted on them.

Maybe, but there's still very much uncertainty left. Who says Went wasn't in Canada at the time, or who says it wasn't someone else posting from the area where Went presumably had been at the time of the post. Just knowledge of the area the ip number was from is not proof for anything in my eyes.

I doubt that. And why did he never come back again, if he wanted contact with the fans on a board, if it was him? And Went must have known that with no proof whatsoever the masses would be sceptic. Which is where the telling the fandom you are online in interviews, in videos, at Cons, whatever, comes in handy.

Cast members of PB? IDK, I hear people saying that, but haven't witnessed it myself. And again how can you be sure the person is the one they claim to be? Until I witness it for myself I'll remain doubtful.
