^^ I think most of us know that. On the show he has to wear some kind of tight glove that is the prosthetic we see in the show. However it's so tight that he can only wear it for half an hour, because it seriously cuts off his blood circulation.

So, kinda scary when you think of it... If he, for some ridiculous reason forgets to take it off, he will lose his hand for real after all! Yeah, an actors life isn't all butterflies and roses... Ah well, that's what they get paid the big bucks for, isn't it?
