| To post something on topic for a change, I thought I'd share a thought that came to me while driving to work this morning: That we readily accept that T-Bag got through the experience of having his hand hacked off with what seemed only minor discomfort and pain; and that we readily accepted that he had his hand sown back on by a vet without anesthesia really quick (I'm not arguing against that it is possible to reattach cut off limbs [not heads, rhough

| OMGOMGOMGOMG....... You are soooooooooo right..... you have posted something on topic ... for a change.... Yes... fully in agreement with you.... I could well imagine that any normal person after losing a limb would still be having lots of problems a good while after.... infections.... phantom pains... getting used to not having limb there... getting used to working without it.... or just mentally ....T-Bag seems to get on just well without it.... except for the odd comment thrown here and there about how he lost it.... One of my sisters nearly lost her leg at seven years old in a farm accident.... She was in hospital for a whole seven weeks.... She had many skin grafts... and had physio for years after... still has to keep muscles active so they don't all tense up.... What does T-Bag do??? None of these! No Physio... no returns to any hospital or medical care centre for check ups.... He doesn't even take a thorough course of antibiotics.... IMO..... I guess he must have in on of their many tussles...rubbed against Superboy Whistler.... Got some of his regenerating powers.... He may have become impervious to pain too.... And now back to normal....... ie...Off Topic... My boy wonder is back... happy from the extra time spent with his dad... I'm really glad I put my foot down and pushed it... We are going to spend a few quality Smiley & Son hours together this afternoon.... taking in a swim in the local pool... library visit.... Lunch and then maybe cinema....or bowling... we got lots of catching up to do!!! On a plus though... he was so excited about being home ... he gave me my mothers day present early.... [I gave him some pocket money ... he could obviously spend on himself when he was on holidays]....and he came back with a gift for me.... A small teddy... and a ''I LOVE MY MUM'' mug.... * Smiley hands round some Maltesers*!!! Have a good day all
