I like those too, but I prefer the solid color on Wentworth...it really brings out his eyes and goes well with his skin tone.....I swear he is handsome....yes, he is growing on me, and to think he used to not be able to do it for me

And we don't want to forget who told you so first, do we?

I like men best in jeans (faded or torn is optional, if the suject wants to wearing black leather trousers is fine too), T-Shirt (white or dark depending on skind tone and hair colour) and black or brown leather jacket. Ahh - I'm a sucker for leather jackets!
Ladies I give to you exhibit A, Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester:

Exhibit B, David Boeranaz as Angel

Today I had 15 minutes to pass while I was in town. I spent them in a bookstore, which eventually cost me 40€. Amongst magazines I also bought 3 books. One calles "Irish girls are back in town" which I picked up because it made me think of smiley. It seems to be a quite entertaining collection of short stories of female Irish writers. (quote from the back of the book: "Irish girls are a hedonistic lot, well versed in the art of champagne quaffing, effortlessly up to scratch with desinger dressing, and endlessly inventive when it comes to fighting the battle of the sexes." )
2 books are by Jane Austen (I'm on a quest to read the classics and they were really cheap): Emma and Persuasion.
So ladies, attention here it comes, the connection to this very thread we are in:
In Persuasion I read on the back of the book there is a character named Cpt. Wentworth. WM himself once said in an interview his parents named him after a Cpt. Wentworth a character out of a book. I think I might have found that book and I can't wait to find out what kind of person the fine Captain is.

DB was on his show a few weeks ago with Sharon Osbourne.... and boy did he squirm!!! Sharon O was all over him like a rash... and so was Mr. Norton!!! LMAO!!! The audience were all screaming for him to strip down to his Undies there and then.... which he very nearly did!!! In fact, I think he did eventually throw both his shows or something else into the audience... ( I can't remember what it was...)...LOL!!! I swear I haven't laughed so much in a while!!! I'm sure Graham N. did America for a bit!!!

LMAO!!! That's a super book!!! I have that somewhere here!!! LOL!!
Cecilia Ahern's 'Bingo Hall' story is great and really funny..... Written about her mum and her strict upbringing!! Cecilia is the lass who wrote the book PS. I Love You... which is out in the cinema's at the moment!!! Cal.... Please go and see it... if you get a chance!!! You'll laugh yourself sick!!! LOL!! The guy Sher likes from Supernatural is also in it.... as a special treat... we get a full view of his lush rear end.... for a moment or two!!!! But... I deviate... hmmmmm....
Cecilia is also daughter of Ireland's current taoiseach...(Prime Minister)! Her books are really funny and are spot on about how a Irish Woman's mind works!!!! LOL!!!
Another lass called Rosie Lenihan also wrote a story in the book... I remember that girl doing comedy on TV when I was a wee kid!!! She's really funny!!! Calena... enjoy the book!!! And ... after ... you might have a slightly better understanding of just how my mind works!!! LOL!!! Don't be giving away any of my secrets now!!!! LOL!!!

Personally, I prefer the writings of the Bronte sisters or George Eliot... she wrote great stories.... however, there is indeed a character called Cpt. Wentworth in Persausion!! Wheither or not, Mr. M was named after him is debatable.... I was to be named after the english football team CHELSEA first until.... my parents changed their minds three weeks after I was born!!! Who knows???
On subject of.... Ctp. Wentworth.... he had a really long love affair with Anne Elliot in the book..... If I remember.... I last did that book in school in about.... 1986/87...... It's a classic!!! Enjoy it too Calena!! What good choices!!!
PS... If you like a good classic book.... Try 'Silas Mariner' by George Eliot!!! That was a great story!!! That is probably my favourite of all of them!!! ... Well all except Great Expectations.... By Dickens!! That's just superb from start to finish!!!

Yes that's us Irish females..... No debate there!!! In fact why stop there.... that's really being too kind.... and they are really holding back... I feel!!! LMAO!!!

I so want you to see Jensen Ackles (he plays in Supernatural)
The guy of SPN sher likes plays Jensen's dad.

There is no excaping P.S. I love you, it's being mega-hyped, but I haven't read or seen it yet, because I'm a bit weary of chick lit or chick flicks. But if you say it's funny I might check it out.

I will want to discuss the books once I've read them. It'll take some time, cause I have so many books to choose from and so little time for reading.
In my quest of reading the classics I got myself 3 Dickens' books: Great Expectations, David Copperfield and Oliver Twist. I have only read Oliver Twist so far, it was nothing like I expected. I thought the title hero would be a bit more, well, active. Everything always just happens to him. Nonetheless it was a good book.
Another classic I'm a bit disappointed in is "Lord of the Flies" I expected an epic post.apocalyptic, somewhat like King would write it story, but it was only very thin and lacking in action.
Is "Watership Down" a classic? This one I liked very much!

@lala78:
Glad I could brighten up your day!

I don't think that dude, Jensen, is very good-looking. I guess I am a bit picky...I prefer dark hair. I do like the jeans-shirt-jacket ensemble; it's really sexy. I think Weenieworth could pull something like that off really well, but I don't know if that is his style. Now, David, I really like him. He has this dark, mysterious appeal to him.
I must admit, I was a bit concerned at first because it seemed that you were unhappy with all fashion possibilities for the Weenieworth. I mean, if he shouldn't wear all these things, do you just expect him to roam around butt naked...hehehe...I guess I wouldn't mind that soo much, but I would prefer that kind of view in the privacy of my own bedroom--or his.
You're in for a real treat: Jane Austen is one of the best authors of all time. Her work is extraordinary. She has the ability to provide a certain depth and complexity to characters that other authors, especially during her time, were unable to unwilling to provide. I think one of the best ones she wrote was Pride and Prejudice. I will never stop loving that novel because it left a permanent mark on my psyche. It really changed the way I think about certain things. Many people want to regard it as nothing more than another romance, but I think it is so much more than that. I've already mentioned before that I'm not that big into rom-coms and romance novels, so obviously she did something right to keep me reading each. year in and year out. Do you read any poetry?? If you like love poems, Pablo Neruda is great. I know I've mentioned him before, but he is also truly extraordinary. Just reading his biography is amazing. He was heavily involved in poilitics, by the way, and it nearly got him killed. He was very outspoken about the atrocities against humanity and his people. He was even on the United States blacklist...very interesting. He has some of the most diverse writing out there....love him so much.
