You're still keeping up with him? Yea, I saw that news somewhere. I do love Law and Order: SVU--it's one of my favorite shows, a show I've kept up with for years. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I do keep up with the shows actors etc... from time to time... We have spent quite a while watching them on a TV show like PB, and even though the show, IMHO, started to really go downhill fairly rapidly towards the end... to his credit, I didn't think he did a bad job at all with his role... he is a fairly good actor, so in respect of that, I will try to follow where he goes after PB!
Also, I really love all these SVU /L& O shows.... I still miss the late great Jerry Orbach in the show.... he was a true talented guy!
According to the article, he is only in the show for a single ep, shame but it will be good to see him stretch his acting abilities a bit more then on his latter days on PB! In that respect, I wish him the very best with his future!!!

I'm not entirely opposed to him being on one of my favorite shows. I would still be watching the show whether or not he made a guest appearance or not. Because of my fanaticism about Law and Order, I'll probably end up seeing how his performance goes.

I don't know if I could say the same as you....I've been keeping up more with some of the other PB guys, hoping to see them in future roles and eagerly anticipating the roles they've gotten, the ones we already know about. Speaking of the other actors in PB: Why haven't we seen any threads about them and their future projects. Several of them have landed some meaty roles, as regulars I think, so they have a good, long stretch ahead of them. I know Robert is going to be in Heroes, which I have to say I am very much looking forward to. WF landed a role in Entourage, if I'm not mistaken. Vance already has another show airing on Fox, and the show is very unique. Have you seen his new show, Smiley? I hope you have because you'll really get you V-fix then.

I have to be honest and state that he really didn't shine in PB in comparison to the others. Robert and WF were absolutely phenomenal in PB; I don't think I could say a single negative,or even close to negative, thing about their performances. The quality of acting those men produced was truly impressive and inspiring. I think anyone who wants to get into acting should take a few lessons from those two men. It probably helped them that they have more experience then some of the others, but, still, damn they were amazing. I swear I am going to miss those guys, but I'm glad that they will soon be back and I'll get the opportunity to see the beauty of their work once again. Domninic was pretty damn impressive at times, too. I think they prefectly casted the role of Linc because I really cannot imagine too many other people who could come close to filling that role. The great thing about Dom's performance is that it always came across so real...so raw. He didn't go over the top like you see with some actors; his performance wasn't overly exaggerated; in fact, it was quite realistic. It also seemed to come real natural to him. I also believe we got to see some range with this character, which was incredibly refreshing because, at times, it seemed like the focus could be put too much on Mikey.

Ahhh the V Man.... Oh how I truly miss that man in the show....
I have heard about his new show, but so far have not been able to catch up with it... I must remedy that ASAP...

I agree though, we need to start these actor threads up again... praise their new work.... before the PB show gets pushed so far back in our memories that we struggle to even think of this time....

I didn't necessarily think he was the best actor in the show, btw... you are correct in saying that both WF & RK were both excellent with Dom P coming close behind... but I don't believe that was necessarily his fault.... the writers just seemed to give up the will to write towards the middle of S4, in fact, maybe even in S3.... so in that respect, he did the best he could with what he was given to do... I am interested in seeing how he tackles into more varied roles though....

I don't want to say Mr. Miller's work was the worst, by any means. I'm not trying to be offensive here. I can't blame the writers entirely for this one, simply because there were a few things here and there way before the "incident" occurred. It was more the way he sometimes delivered his lines and the tone of voice he used than anything else. There were times when a line was meant, at least according to my perspective because I could be wrong, to convey one thing but ended up coming across much differently. And then there was the whisper, and the signature head bop he did, combined with the raised eyebrow.

Now, I do have to admit there were some killer moments he provided. Mr. Miller is gifted when it comes to conveying the more extreme emotions, especially sadness and despair. Those moments were very impressive, and it was hard not to feel something when he gave us those performances in particular. He is, by far, The King of Sad Faces. Ha. I just remembered something, although it is slightly embarrassing. It probably undermines the whole "don't write certain people or whatever" type of thing. Anyway, I came up with this corny idea of something to send him. It's rather obvious and retarded,though.

Back to the acting:

In S4 and parts of S3, he came across as being rather tired. I don't know if this was intended or not. There were times when it seemed like he just wasn't into it anymore, like he would have rather been doing something else. I suppose if one wanted to see it that way (that it was intended to come across like this), they could make a little sense out of it. I mean, Mikey had gone through a bunch of **** and obviously wanted some peace and closure. In S4, we learned that he was sick, so that could be another explanation because perhaps all the running and fighting was physically wearing him down. If that's the case, then he pulled it off well, although I'm not sure if it was intended or not.
