| I know! He's making so much progress...I am actually proud of him......now if we could just get enough rest to do the more fun things *wink*......I've had to do all the yard work......or at least mowing the lawn...apparently he has some sort of lawn mower phobia....I told him I would take care of the majority of it if he would just trim a bit around the bushes with a weed eater or a push mower...while I used the riding mower..but he wasn't having it....he kept talking about stories of people losing their toes getting them all caught up in the cutters....so I delegated some more tasks and sent him to do some weed pulling in the garden....simple enough, right? Well, he just started pulling up anything and everything that was green.....pulled up some daisies, petunias, the snow ball bush I was trying to get started, my morning glory vine....everything! He had those babies ripped to shreds and there was nothing I could do with them...oh, and then he comes across my cat whiskers.....he wasn't pulling them up and ripping them like the others....I caught him in the act....and he turns to me and starts accusing me of growing marijuana...yea...yea..maybe they short of look like the leaves...but it's not the same...he was showing way too much interest in those flowers if you ask me.... I finally talked him out of pulling them...or so I thought...I thought he had understood what they were, but apparently he didn't believe me because half an hour later the damn things are gone....and they weren't thrown to the edge like the rest of my flowers were.... |
