I see. The book "Watership Down" wasn't exaggerating on how brainy rabbits are, after all.

I wish that would work with my dog, but no chance of holding him upside down as he weighs 60 kilos.

It's all in the way you hold them Calena.... there is a bit of flesh at the back of their necks... you just lightly... but firmly( if you know what I mean)... tug at them whilst turning them on their side... sometimes it helps to put a towel over the dogs eyes... so they learn to put more trust in you at these times.... it's important that you use same calm voice throughout.... it keeps them more calmer that way.... I know this cause we have had to train our dogs on our farm for many years... I had a black labrador dog for 19 years... and another golden lab dog for 14 and a half years.... both have passed on now.... Now we have another golden lab dog for last four years...
I don't care for all the cats on our farm though.... they tend to stay away from me when at home on the farm!!! They stay out on the farm... and catch their own dinners!!! LOL!!!

My dog's name is Baba, short for Barbarossa. He is a very nice dog and he trusts me, I can take his food away at any time, which is a sign he accepts me as leader. But he doesn't like when his tail gets brushed, because it hurts him when hairs are pulled out, so he doesn't hold still when it's brush time.
