Prison Break star: 'I'm not gay'

Prison Break star Wentworth Miller has come out and said that he is not gay, despite the rumours that have been circulating the web. Miller, who plays Michael Scofield in the hit Fox show, has been romantically linked to Brothers & Sisters star Luke MacFarlane on several occasions, but the actor, who appears in the just-aired third season premiere of the show, denies it all.

"I’m not gay, but that rumour can’t be killed. I’d like to have a girlfriend and a family. But I haven’t met the right one yet." He told entertainment site Digital Spy.

”Until then I’m focusing on my job. I had to wait so long for this chance. I savour every second on set even if it means 14 hours of shooting a day."

Despite the strong rumours that seem to swirl around him everywhere he goes, the on-screen brother of Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller has flatly denied that the actor is homosexual.
“Wentworth is not gay,” Aussie Dominic Purcell told a Sydney radio station this week. “People like to jump to conclusions about him.”
The rumours about Miller surfaced immediately after he hit the big time with Prison Break, and increased recently after he was photographed many times hanging out with openly gay actor Brothers and Sisters actor Luke McFarlane, the ex-boyfriend of Grey’s Anatomy star T.R. Knight.
Miller recently told InStyle Germany that his gay rumour “can’t be killed. I’d like to have a girlfriend and a family. But I haven’t met the right one yet. Until then I’m focusing on my job.”
On radio this week, Purcell was emphatic in his denials on behalf of his on-screen prison escaping brother. “Went is not gay. I’ve tried it on him many times and he just buffs me right back,” he joked.
So there you have it. The dreams of many boys are quashed…..for now.
