One Tree Hill: Episode 5.14 "What Do You Go Home To" Recap

Last week on One Tree Hill, the gang spent some time working out their issues. Nathan and Haley went to couples counseling in an attempt to bring the spark back to their marriage, Lucas chatted with Andy about his desire to win back Lindsey, and Brooke was grilled by an adoption agent over her scandalous past. In the best scenes of the episode, Dan (Paul Johansson) made his parole officer listen to stories about his adorable grandson, Jamie. The entire hour was a lot of talk, but not a lot of action.

Tonight, Lucas and Peyton finally discuss the wedding that wasn't, and Mouth and Millicent return to awe us with their adorableness.

All I have to say is I'm glad they finally brought Deb back. Its about time. I was begeinning to really wonder where she had run off to.

How is Jamie rapping not an option in the poll? I also loved his first thought in the morning ("Chester!"), followed by Brooke's first thought ("Brooke!"). That poor baby. And friends and business do not mix, so Haley and Peyton should be full of conflict. And how awesome is Dan? Being unburdened by knowledge of his past misdeeds is great for me, because it makes him such a sympathetic character.

This was definitely a better ep than last week's. As much as I want to like Q he really frustrates me sometimes. I expected Nathan to struggle making his comeback but watching Q embarrass and mock him (especially after how supportive Nathan's been to him) was annoying. As for Haley, I love that we're hearing her singing again and the song played is actually my favorite of Joy's so I'm hoping we get to see her character perform it. I loved the opening of this ep and found it interesting too that the very first thought of Miss-I-want-to-be-a-mother Brooke was herself. Loved Nathan's thought of Haley though.

This was a good episode and I am glad Deb is helping Haley and Nathan with Jamie. It looks like Quentin will not be playing basketball for the Raven's and that must be hard on him but to act like a jerk is no excuse. He will have to learn that it is not nice to make fun of people who have been though a bad accident. Jamie was so cute and his rapping with Quentin was adorable. The Lucas and Brooke scene was great and how cute is that purple monkey. I hope Brooke will be a good mom. Lucas wants Lindsey back and she is returning next episode so we will see if they get back together or not. I don't want Peyton to pine away for Lucas anymore and for her to get on with her life. Haley making a music comeback is cool and I hope to hear her sing as well.

Oh yeah, I was pretty excited to see Deb...and I'm happy she's gonna be Jamie's nanny as well. But I'm more interested to see Deb's reaction to Dan. That's the ep I'm waiting for.
