One Tree Hill covered a lot of ground in the first 12 episodes of its fifth season. Not only did the series jump four years into the future, but over the course of the most recent episodes we've seen Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley break up, nanny Carrie go bonkers, Peyton make up with Lindsey, Dan get out of prison, and Lucas almost get married. That's a lot to pack in to a season, and we still have six episodes remaining before the finale. This begs the question, what do we want to see in those final installments? I have five bright ideas for what the writers of One Tree Hill should do next.To read the rest, click here.

Ooh, I think your idea for Rachel is good, and actually sounds like exactly what they're going to do. As for Dan, what is his goal? I get that he's apparently evil (though he did save Jamie), but does he have an agenda? I want villains like Arvin Sloane or Benjamin Linus whose actions are driven by a goal, even if we don't know what it is. With Dan, is it just that he's evil? Evil for evil's sake, while entertaining, is not very interesting. I'd like to add a sixth point, however: give Skillz a story! All he seems to do is hang out with Jamie, and those scenes are awesome, so I'd like to see him get something to do.

I disagree when you say that Quentin's always obnoxious; I think they're actually doing a good job giving him some depth. I mean, he went from heckling and snipping at Haley in the first couple episodes to defending her honor! Putting him and Nathan together as like mentor and mentee was a really, really good move, and I'd actually like to see them investigate that a little bit more, esecially since Q's cut the cast off now and we know that's not gonna end well. He's been an inspirationf or Nathan to get up off his duff and now that he and Haley are on the road to divorce, itd definitely give him a very GOOD, helpful, non-harmful outlet to expend his energy in.

I agree that we don't need to have any more new characters come on the show. I would love a new villain and maybe make Dan have a partner that we won't suspect until later. Peyton and Lucas will they or won't they has to end and make a decision. Haley and Nathan I don't want them to get a divorce since Jamie will be very sad and he loves his father so it would make it hard for Jamie to forgive Haley for Nathan leaving. Raphael was great in causing trouble so more of that is cool.

I had written a huge speech but this thing erased it. This is the short version: All your ideas were great, but Naley getting a divorce is not, and it's not just me, all the polls that you've made about the issue tell the same thing. We are all waiting for them to get back together, they've barely kissed this past season, they could be divorce for all we know. Naley is one of the main reasons OTH has such loyal fan-base, and we die-hard-Naley fans would die if we saw them apart for a while.. it would be a disaster.

I agree in the lucas and peyton's point and in the newbies's ponit but i dont wanna see haley and nathan breaking up, specially because they haven't been a close couple this season. the brooke's point i would like to see her with a pourpose cause, althought i love her all the season she jusnt complein about her mom and do anything until the last episode. i would like to see her with a kid specilally if is from luke, i mean this would make his relationship with owen a little more intersting.

| Jared's S&M gal ![]() | I definitely don't think Nathan and Haley need to get divorced. They've got a child together so I'm not interested in watching either one of them off dating someone else or living this fabulous life while the other is stuck taking care of Jamie. Plus, I think it's nice that there's a least one couple on the show who truly love each other and manage to stay together despite all the things coming at them to break them apart. Especially since Lucas can't seem to get his crap together. I agree with Brooke 86-ing the baby idea. I like seeing her all spunky and as a godmother to Jamie, not her up all night feeding a baby. That's gonna totally cut into her hanging out naked in the back seat of guy's cars time. And I would like to see Peyton and Lucas either get together or move on. Enough is enough with them. Oh and JDMgirl, I agree with you in terms of Quentin. I thought he was a tool at first but he really was just like Nathan back in the beginning of season 1. Now we're seeing some changes in him and I'd like them to explore his mentor relationship with Nathan more. I think there's a good story there.

Yes, Leyton does need to make up their minds, I agree with you on that. But there are a couple I don't agree with. Like for one, KEEP NALEY TOGETHER!!!!!! They need to stay together no matter what, enough said. And here's another, WARNING **SPOILER**i learned from onetreehillblog.com that brooke adopts a baby, sorry**END SPOILER** Other than that, I agree with all the other things.

Naley SO don't need a divorce! If they do Schwahn will lose most of his fanbase and the ratings will drop. They've stuck together for such a long time and all they really need to do is communicate. That's what they were lacking. They NEED each other... no matter what face they try and put on. That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. About LP... I'm just sick of Schwahn making them seem epic because they're NOT. And I'm also sick that they're making every single relationship Lucas or Peyton have been in seem like a lie... don't get me wrong... I shipped LP (up till season four when they got together) but even as someone who used to dislike BL I knew there was something there... same with JP... and even my recent favorite LL (though they're not even close to my love for NH). psycHO Carrie was NOT entertaining. SHE was the waste of time. Having another storyline to show how Nathan isn't Dan and will not cheat on Haley is pointless because we've seen that so many times before.
