Season 5

So, I read the article about how season 5 would be written. Intsead of going to college, season 5 would skip five years (after college), when everyone has come back to Tree Hill and are making their lives. It is better for back stories and drama. What do you think? How will this effect the show? Better or Worse?

How would they age the characters that much? I dont know. I hope the show stays on for a long time, so doing whatever they have to do to keep it would be fine with me. I hope they figure something out to make it a few more seasons!!

I also heard that they were thinking about doing that as well. I guess it could be better, but it would be good if we saw everyone one in college. To see where they go and the new lives there having at school away from everyone else.

when does season 5 start it said march 28th.. but im soo confused and i didnt see it so if you know when it started or starts let me know! and what nights its on let me know cuz i got confused. thanks!

its coming back on may 2 (tomorrow) and its not season 5 by the way those are the remaining 6 episodes of season 4. No word about season 5 yet, we'll find out on may 17 after the upfronts in ny

I have also heard about this, I think it's a really good idea. College years in any show that has attempted this are always really dragged out, as far as aging them like someone previously stated i dont think it should be that hard, after all every charector on the show is in there mid-late 20's so.Well see what happens but I definetly am really excited for this.

They wouldn't have to age the characters at all. If they skip ahead 5 years the actors, with the exception of James (nathan), would be playing the ages that they are now in real life!

well its creative .. i wonder if they would do flashbacks to explain what happened over time ??
thast kind of like this show that was on FOX (dont remember the name) buuuuut it showed a group of high school friends after college and they showed flashbacks to explain one of the friends murders... sounds interesting if executed well

I love One Tree Hill, but I'm not sure about the whole skipping time thing. I don't understand how once everyone has gone different places and been involved in different things with different people they're all going to wind back up in Tree Hill... it doesn't make since.. I just want Jake to come back though.
