When tragedy struck, the death of mentor and coach, Whitey Durham, the path that would lead them home was set. Gathering under the worse circumstances wasn't the way they wanted to reform their broken bonds, but life had changed them more then they would ever know...

Lucas had become a published author, dating his editor Lindsey, and continuously searching for the inspiration what would give him a second novel.

Peyton followed her love of music far from home, and got everything she ever wanted in a career. But, her heart was still broken, and the idea of working underneath someone who didn't appreciate music like she did, drove her searching.

Brooke's fashion line shot her to super stardom, spawning more and more media outlets under the watchful eye of her mother Victoria. Although, celebrity didn't matter, and a void continuously got bigger and bigger.

Nathan got his dream. He became a basketball star, and more important, was a good husband and father. When fame tore him away from his home, he found himself losing who he was in the bright lights of Los Angeles.

Haley followed Nathan in his journey in the NBA, remaining on the home front with their son and preparing to take the next step as a teacher at Tree Hill High School. But, the growing wall between her and her husband would tear their family apart.

Others found their way home, ex-boyfriends and girlfriends, new loves, old friends. New bonds formed with a younger generation who resembled much of themselves.

Nothing could prepare them for what came with the decisions they had made...
