One Tree Hill FinaleIt was clear from the One Tree Hill finale that the creators were excepting a cancellation over their eleventh hour renewal (thought by many to be a result of the Girlmore Girls contract snafu.)  The One Tree Hill  finale was full of self-fulfilling beginnings and ends to situations which leave plenty of room for plenty of new story material when the show returns mid-season.

I LOVE the fact that OTH is comeing back for a fivth season. But why does it have to be a mid-seasoner. It will mean lesser episodes than normal. it is not like the rateings have been bad. The ratings for last nights episode was 2.50 million. which is a lot. i have seen a peek of the show "gossip girls". From what i have seen it is not really that great. so that should be should be the mid-seasoner. but for another day.

this mid-seaon start is dumb. I think that one of there many new shows should be mid season instead of OTH.

i really LOVE this show and i started crying in the finale because it really made me think about my own life and i think that this series shouldn't end...thank god that theres another season, i hope its not going to be too weird with skipping a whole 4 years of their lives....

Mid-season means that instead of having a full number of episodes, in One Tree Hill's case it's 22, there won't be as many, and it will begin right in the middle of all of the other show's seasons. We're really getting the bad end of the deal.
