I'm so upset it's only gonna be a mid-season show!!! Someone should start an on line petition to have a whole season!!!

Ok Breeanna, just because it's mid-season show, doesn't mean it won't be full season...It's just means fewer repeats...that's a good thing, so don't jump the gun. They do that with shows all the time, that way they can just have a bunch of new episodes in a row...so don't worry.

I love this show and it seems to me that all the really good tv series ends up getting takin off or done like this mid-season crap and I cant stand it, just when you get use to something this is exactly what happens. I want a full season and many more.....

The fact that one tree hill is taking this leap of faith, and going into the future four years makes me love it even more. High school is filled with dramma and troubles as we all know that is why we enjoyed the past four years of one tree hill. Now that it will be in the future after college, when the charectors who havent already grown up must join the charectors who have, and become adults.

As for the season finale i enjoyed it. yes as some people are saying it was like a series finale and would of made a great series finale, but it also made a great season finale for this season. Season Four is the end of an era, end of people acting a certain way or honestly behaving stupidly. Season five will bring us wonderful things that many will enjoy.

Season Five Here we Come!!!!!

The end to the season was very good, and the 5th season is going to be very good because all of them will have gone to college and they will be a lot older. I am also excited to see James Lucas Scott and Lily Rose Scott take his first steps.

On May 17, 2007, The CW announced that the show would return for a fifth season, but as a mid-season replacement. The show will be "dramatically retooled and set four years into the future - after the characters have already graduated from college." Until the show's return to the schedule, the network has plans to post diaries online to fill in the intervening years in the characters' lives.

Hilarie Burton confirmed on TRL that the show's fifth season will focus on their lives after college, citing the reason for this as "We've seen the High School dramas not do so well while they're in college, and another thing, we've done everything that everyone does in college". She said this will "enable them to do flashbacks and a lot of cool stuff with the characters". The fifth season now has a 22-episode order.[citation needed]

I think OTH is one of the best shows I've seen in years on the CW. I have always loved the way that they show you don't have to be 30 and have a career to find your soulmate for life like with Haley and Nathan. The show just really touches the right subjects and I would really love it if you would keep it on the air.

I'm soooooo happy to find out that there will be a fifth season for the best show ever! it'll be interesting to see them graduiate from college and all... I really hope OTH won't end.. pls pls pls!!
It's the only show I've loved and I NEVER MISS AN EPISODE! The mid-season thing is so unfair. They shouldn't do that to OTH.. give it 22 episodes as usual pls!

i am from PI.. if the season 5 will be aired on mid-season (200

in US that means i have to wait much much longer.. as it is a delayed airing here... so sad! i love one tree hill... i adore sophia bush!

this is seriously the BEST show I've ever seen.. The cinematography, the story, the acting, everything.. I've been amazed, shocked, scared (peyton's stalker), angry, giddy, happy, and reduced to tears just be watching this story.. It touches everything life can possibly bring especially in this generation. It's great.. So i was happy when I found out that there's still more to come. I went into a fit after watching the last episode of season 4. seriously. i love it that much.
