One Tree Hill: Waiting for a 5th Season

One Tree Hill won't be airing a new episode until March 28th and, considering there isn't much in the way of One Tree Hill news out there, it seems like as good a time as any to discuss the show's prospects of getting picked up for another season. The points in One Tree Hill's favor are many: it has a loyal legion of hardcore fans, it's already been on for four seasons, its popularity hasn't waned, and the show, creatively, is as good as ever. That last point is arguable, but from the One Tree Hill fans I know, the word is that this year has been as good as ever.

One Tree Hill has been on the verge of cancellation since it first hit the air. The ratings have always straddled the line between acceptable and disappointing. After every season, it's been a question whether or not One Tree Hill would be picked up for another season. That kind of stress has to wear on a cast and crew. So, One Tree Hill may not be the most profitable show on TV. But, who cares?

If OTH does not get another new season, the CW will disappear, cuz OTH has to be one of its best shows! Not only by my standards, but also by national statistics.

You CAN NOT cancel this show i am its # 1 fan and its the best show that has ever been on TV i am in love with it literally!!! CMM is my husband!!!

You CANT cancel One Tree Hill.It's the only reason I watch the CW.It's the best show on and i love the real life situations the cast goes through. I love this show and I'm sure there are other OTH fans out there who like me would be devistated if it was not picked up for another season. KEEP ONE TREE HILL .

don't cancel oth, its the best show on tv. every year a dramatic episode lifts it off the ground.

The one tree hill is the best show out there and i think you should never cancel is. Most of my friends and family love the show and watch every single times its on. I have never missed a show yet and never will. i love the show to much. So don't cancel it ever.

So basically if they dont pick this show up for a 5th season we wont get to see everyone 4 yrs from now! come on..i wanna see if Naley is together down the road...if they cancel Oth i am gonna protest or something i will just stop watching all CW shows altogther!

If One Tree Hill isn't on the CW next season, my TV won't be on the CW either. I mean, I can understand ending a show when it's time for it to go, but One Tree Hill is as alive as ever! I am definitely still glued to the TV every Wednesday night at 9, and usually, past then because I'm still sitting there, mouth opened, eyes wide after whatever shocking drama just unfolded the previous hour!

SEASON 5!!!!!!!!!

You are soooo right!!! im 17 and along with so many others, agree that it should come back as soon as possible. i think this is the only show that i look foward to watching every week and its bad enough that they are repeating "The PussyCat Dolls" Search and thinking about not having a next season-thats horrible.
