NB3, if you think I must see this, I will, but I need your word on it that I won't turn into a Tom-fan.

I seem to be in the minority (report?) on this thread, but I like a lot of his movies. The last couple years he's turned into a complete nut-job, and it's starting to affect my views on the movies I see him in. I really liked War of the Worlds, but while I was watching it in the theater, I couldn't help but think of the Oprah thing and all of the other crazy crap he'd been doing at the time.

I'm gonna go see MI:3, but only 'cuz I like action movies and he's had some decent ones, but I'm sure I'm going to think about his off screen persona while I'm watching it.

Let me level with you Smith... I have never really liked the guy, and it took years for him to win me over to point that I could say, " he was ok" (regarding his performance in a movie.) Even though I did not like Tombo, I saw many of his movies. The first time I actually said that maybe he was ok... the guy went nutty. It was almost as if he did this just to prove me wrong so that I would look like an idiot. Of course I know this is not the case, but it ticked me off. So now I officially hate the guy. Some of his movies are decent, but he is a wanker.

I do not hold anything against anyone who likes him or his movies! I just really enjoy ripping on the guy ... I have heard great reviews for MI3, but, alas, I am too stubborn to ever find out for myself.

and to theactordavid: don't even joke about such things! Tomfan? Ug!

Worry not, my dear - I could never. Just giving a little tickle to NB3 in good clean fun.

He's lucky Mimi didn't make him change HIS name to Thomas, considering she is 8 years OLDER than psycho-boy!

I have to tell you.... I think it is wonderful that he is so in love that he doesn't even care if he makes a fool of himself. He has been extremely private all through his career and never shows his emotions. Since he and Katie met he is completely different. I can relate. When my husand and I met it was the same and still is. We are crazy about each other and we knew it instantly. I can shout it from the mountain tops and I don't care what people think. It is almost twenty years since we met and he still "rocks my world".
Good for Tom. I only wish we could all find that kind of love.
I have enjoyed MOST of his movies although there were a couple of stinkers in there.
