Why is it that when i try to upload my avatar, i can't? do i have to seek permission from travis?

what kind of type is it? certain types aren't allowed to be uploaded

Are you sure it meets the size restrictions, 100x100 pixels is the largest it can be.

I'm havingthe same problem, it says the upload failed. It's not the size, or the type, and I know that for sure. Does Travis need to allow us to use one or something?

It depends on the type of file. This board allows gif .jpeg .jpg .swf .png so if you're av is .bmp (for example), it won't load. If you have a program like Adobe or even Paint, you can change the file type to one that is allowed.

Size could also be a problem but its only an av so it shouldn't exceed the limit unless your av is animated, which might be too big.
