i love the song "california". I think it suits the show.

I don't like Phantom Planet, but I do love this song. I sing along everytime (making a fool of myself mind you), I never get sick of it.

I never get tired of hearing it either and now that there are so many versions my IPod is chocka blocked with Phantom Planet and O.C. Music

Personally i am crazy about the song. Some of my friends hate it, but i never get tired of singing it over, and over and over and over, or just watching the beginning of an episode to listen to it again.

The song makes people think of the show. Over here in England on Sundays The OC gets repeated after a Tuesday showing. My mum was saying that she left the house as it was coming on. As she walked down the hall a man in his fourties was leaving his house. Someone in his house must have had The OC on because he was whistling California as he made his way down the stairs.
