I Hated The Cover Of 'yellow'... - Page 2

I never really liked Coldaplay, I like Yellow somewhat and I agree that the cover did suit the scene but I don't like it that much. I'd rather hear the orignal, even thoguh I tend to like covers.

i certainly dont hate it, it wasn't the worst. i've heard a lot worse.

Hmm.. maybe I shouldn't have said 'hated'.... I don't really hate it. I just think its not even close to being as good as the original. Also, it's not as if I hate covers. I loved Ryan Adams' cover of 'Wonderwall' & Matt Pond PA's cover of 'In The Aeroplane Over The Sea'. (Although the originals of these songs are still better

I like it, obviously not as much as Coldplay's version. I think its always nice to hear a not so known artist on the O.C, whicheva song they sing. It worked well, and matt Ponds Champagne Supernova is a good example of a cover, as too is Jeff Buckleys Hallelujah and Jem's Maybe I'm Amazed. I reakon u'll learn to like it

hmmm well i am a huge coldplay fan but i also loved the cover....it fits the oc so well

Original versions of songs are usually better anyway. I still really like the Petra Haden cover...it's nice and soft and easy to listen to. It definately doesn't beat Coldplay's version but it's still good!!!
