Would O.c Be Populer..?

if O.C didnt have beautiful music d it be popular again as now?

I really don't think so, I think that's also one of the things that sets the o.c. apart from other tv shows, it's the fact that they have such a wide variety of music and they really showcase a lot of unfamiliar talent...
plus the music is what makes a tv show or movie that much better, I mean it can make or take away from a scene

Although, I totally agree about the music, it would still be as popular without it. I mean, people don't watch shows solely for the music. The plots are excellent and the music only adds onto them.

I agree with 'rowanrocks'. The show is great by itself but the music makes it better. The songs add to the moments but they don't make them what they are...that's the actors' and writers' jobs.

The storylines are really great so i wud still watch but the music really adds to the atmosphere of the show and makes it kinda relatable, plus all these bands are getting alot of exposure which is cool

yeah i totally agree. the plot lines are great and music only adds to the intensity.

I agree with you all! Imagine the final 5 minutes of the last episode of the first season without the beautiful 'Hallelujah', the music adds so much to the show.

becasue, really, not very many people heard of some of these bands before the o.c.

The show thrives because of its Musical selections and the fact that music is so prominant in the episodes. I think its what sets it apart from many drama's on TV like Smallville for instance that doesn't use a lot of music and a lot more dialogue.
