'The OC's' Mischa Barton Arrested for DUI

Mischa Barton, actress and former star of The OC, was arrested for DUI, possession of narcotics and driving without a valid license early this morning. The actress was pulled over somewhere in West Hollywood early on Thursday morning and may still be in custody, awaiting $10,000 in bail to be posted. Since Barton's departure from The OC, she has garnered a lot of negative attention for her hard-partying ways. There have been numerous paparazzi pictures of Barton looking blatantly intoxicated in public, as well as rumors of drug use. Barton's booking photo that you see here is from this morning's arrest and it's nice to see a mug shot that's not completely disgusting. Mischa Barton is no Nick Nolte.

I totally agree! They should call a car service instead of recklessly endangering their own lives as well as the lives of others on the road. And yeah, I really don't care how many drugs or what kind of drugs they do, but it's a little bit uncouth to be doing them so publicly.

Mischa your such a wonderful actress and I think you have done it well so far and I admire you for that.

Please though whatever you do don't go down the follow the paths of Britney Spears etc and instead get out of the spot light and fix whatever is wrong with you if that is the case and if not at least just be away from the cameras for a while so when you do get back in front of them its on your terms not theirs.

sometimes you wonder why people like her are so unhappy...what's wrong with them? I don't see the point in screwing your life up like this...or maybe she's just having "fun", I don't know
