Last week, we had the honor of sitting down with Josh Schwartz, the mastermind behind The OC, for an exclusive BuddyTV interview. Josh created The OC at the age of 26, becoming the youngest person to ever be in charge of the day-to-day operations of a major TV show. We talked about the origins of The OC, the creative resurgence of the fourth season, and the the show's future.

The OC airs on FOX every Thursday at 9PM ET/PT.

BuddyTV: You were the youngest person to ever be in charge of a prime time network TV show. How did you get into the business at such a young age?

Keep writing Josh! I'm a die hard O.C. fan it has made me become a writer and has encouraged me to do projects of my own. I love everthing you've done so far, go the distance with this show,its awesome in every sense.

I saw on the net a young actress named bella thorne was going to be on the OC but i didn't find the name of the epi. Do you know it? It's season 4 epi 13 flashback of young OC. Anyway. I'm a fan of Bella's and The OC so I can't wait to see it.

You should really do season 5

i think that the oc should stay on tv till season 8
because theres alote of drama and love in that
show i just dont want to forget so please put the oc back on tv its destroying all its fans if you end it now so please its all were asking for o and on the last episode post my comments on tv while the oc it in place which means on tv...

Ok so josh (i think your reading this) I no that the o.c. is over..but seriously how could you?!?!
the o.c. was like my life. How could you just stop?!?! Maybe you did run out of tradgedy's but you've made all the other specctacluar seasons...you could have thought of some more maybe. I'm really upest that it is over =[
I know I probably sound like a retard or whatever but seriously this show was my life!!! I loved everything about this...Is there any possible way to bring it back again?!?! =[[

hey well since the first season teresa was gone since the baby thing maybe u could bring back one where she returns with ryans child and there's a new biginning for everything cuz seriously man she was special to ryan well most people thought so. please do something again with teresa cuz maybe it will bring something good from it. maybe it will be a great idea cuz this movie helps and gives us young ones some common sence. please e-mail me at kerry_razack@hotmail.com
