hallelujah is a beautiful song. i love both versions and think that each was perfect for the finale it was in. at the end of season one, it played as ryan was leaving to go back to chino and marissa was saying goodbye. at the end of season three, it played as marissa was dying and it was ryans turn to say goodbye. i liked how it was a slower version to the song, just made it more emotional.

| Jeff Buckleys version is better, imogen heaps version is good, but then it probably wouldnt be as good if it werent for his infuence on the song but i think for the scene, imogen heaps version was the one to use it was quieter, just her voice with no accompaniment, it suited the scene marissa was dying and the silent parts were appropriate to that also buckleys version has already been used and i think it wouldnt have been right to use it for this finale as well

Jeff's version all the way. I love Imogen but hers was to slow and also hard to make out. Yes, they've used it a lot in the series but for me its all the better to use the same version for this crucial moment.

Jeff Buckley. I loved Imogen Heap's version, it fitted perfectly with the scene but I think Jeff Buckley's version adds more emotion. There are tonnes of other versions of hallelujah played by artists and personally I think they are all performed really well.

I am the biggest fan of Jeff Buckley around and I'd say that Imogen Heap (who's also one of my favorite singers by the way) completely destroyed the song. It was soo weird. But I think that singing that song accapella is a good idea for such a sad scene.

jeff buckley's version is way better than imogen heap's! Although i like leonard cohen's version even better: his deep warm voice gives his song even more warmth and emotion
