Yeah I think you've brought up a good point and maybe yeah they should but I do think some of the people he punched up anyone would! They did some pretty bad stuff. I hope it is true that we will see his dad and I think its time to see his mum again too.

I do think Ryan isn't the best at holding his temper, but I also think that he has been victim of crappy situations, you can't really blame him, for example, for acting as he did with Trey.

Well, we've learned in The Anger Management episode that Ryan really has this problem. But i don't think he's a psycho or a rebel without a cause. He grew up in a very violent environment, and he's adapting slowly to his new life, with a real family. We can see that he's trying to control his temper, for Kirsten and Sandy, for Marissa and for his own future. But those old issues won't go away so easily, as we could see with the Trey incident. Besides learning as a child that kick ass is the way to solve problems, Ryan has a problem with protecting the ones he loves. That's obviously because he has never had anyone that cared for him, and once he comes to trust and love a person, and this person returns this attention to him, he tries do protect her/him as much as he can. Once again, he's a teenager growing up, learning that getting in trouble all the time will only ruin his relationship with the cohens and Marissa. I agree, Ryan kicking ass is awesome. But, can you imagine a kid that in two years has learned absolutelly nothing. In season one, he was still very close to his Chino ways. In season two, i think he changed a lot too fast, suddenly became too calm (because of Lindsay and Kirsten and Sandy). I think that now, in season three, the writers are showing the conflict of the character. Sometimes he'll use his head instead of his fists, but sometimes, no human being can do this. That's the core of the show, how this outsider comes to Newport, and his life and the lives of all these characters change with it.

| Ya, i'm totally agree with what u say ,Natinha Bing !! He's from Chino, i mean it's totally normal to react like this. He has to understand that his old life is behind him, and that no one's gonna let him down (like his parents). I think he just has to understand that. it's true, he's particulary violent, but he hasn't a problem at all. Well, I really hope the scripters won't forget what they wrote in the end of the anger management, because i think the last scene was really important for the character!!

Hey, Chinogirl, i agree with what you said too... And I love your avatar! I looooove this scene in the pilot, when Ryan is kicked out of his house, calls some people and then calls Sandy, with the California song on!!! Back to business, i think too that the last scene in The Anger Management is very important to Ryan's character. We'll see a lot more about his conflict, i think, and that means good stuff in the way. That episode was the best of the season so far, and that scene was awesome. The song is great, I Want to Hear What You've Got to Say, totally decribes the relationship of Ryan and Marissa at that point.
