My girlfriend got me hooked. We just watched it a few times, then she had night classes on Thursdays, so I started taping it for her and got hooked. Then I bought the first season for her birthday. The rest is history!

Hi Everyone!

My name's Danielle and I'm 18 years old from Birmingham in the UK.

For my eighteenth birthday in February, I recieved The OC Season One box set. I never got round to watching it, until I broke my leg on Friday. Being stuck at home is no fun.
Anyway, to start off with, I am a mad Dawson's Creek fan too, so to begin with The OC never really appealed and I missed the pilot anyway and I have issues about watching things in syndication. (it's a long story)
So when I broke my leg (tib/fib fracture - ouch), I decided to pop the DVD in and watch it. Needless to say, I was hooked from the beginning and I watched the whole of season 1 over the weekend.
As I already said, I do have issues regarding syndication, so one of the reasons I am here is to download the episodes, I'm not going to lie BUT I'm no stranger to message boards (have I mentioned Dawson's Creek :P ) and do enjoy discussing various topics with other people.
Also, I do tend to ramble a bit so you know, if I begin to irritate people, you just have to tell me.

alone - everyone here rushes home from athletics etc for it. i go to a very *involved* school...i have to miss the real thing for WAHHH a track meet, but i am learning to record on the thing right now...

Hey! I watch the OC with a group of friends from work. We're all so addicted, but we all work during its airtime. So I record it at home, and then we all come over after our shift and watch it together haha.

I live in germany overseas and i bought the season 1 on DVD. we watched it obsessively. it was a cult in our house. 51 students live here and like 20 to 30 of us watched it. we finished the season though now and are depressed.

I watch it alone I don't like anyone else watching it with me. I want to be totally devoted to The OC when it is on.
My dad sometimes forgets and calls my cell while I am watching and I totally chew him out for calling.

Im jonny and i love the o.c so much! Im from the UK so im about 8 episodes behind..meh so i shall try stay away from the spoilers. :unsure:

i have a couple OC friends but they never watch it on the thursday it comes out. ironically they watch it on TiVo...
