were any of the actors in the oc have previous stardom?

I think of them all, Peter Gallagher's the one that you can say was pretty famous before The O.C. cause he's been in alot of popular mainstream films and he was on Broadway. I've seen Peter in alot of things since I was little. The younger cast are all pretty new to acting, except for Mischa but you can't say she's more famous than Peter because she really didn't do very many projects, i think she was more a model than actress.

I didn't know any of them by name before O.C., but I think Tate (Jimmy) was also sorta famous...in the TV world.

I think it's good that they don't have past characters that interfere.
I mean Shannon on North Shore was definitely Brenda Walsh to me.

jimmy was pretty famous before like in 98, i know he guest start on friends and dated jennifer aniston

I think most of the actors had had minor appearances in films, but only Peter Gallagher really had a film career.

peter's been in a lot of movies. american beauty for one.

I think Peter Gallagher had had really successful career before THE O.C. I watched many of his movies.

I have been aware of Peter Gallagher's movies before and watched that one with Sandra Bullock and I recognised Tate from Friends.
