The Sets

I get that the Cohen house is a set....
but wat about the interiors of caleb and julies mansion?
the interior of the roberts mansion
school, interior?
is the bait shop actually inside that building, or is it on soundstage....
the newport group..... those offices- real or not?

any thoughts would b cool, its really bugging me

o, no.... i mean like the interiors... that just gives exterior locations, like where the external harbour scenes r shot, where the diner is etc.... i was just wondering if the newport group (internal) was a set or actual offices

I would assume most of the interiors are sets, but I have a feeling that some of them may be just real houses that aren't necessarily IN the OC.

I would say that all of the regular interior shots are on set.

Thanks for that link. I enjoyed looking at those aerial pictures of the houses. And it's funny that the poolhouse is completely fake. I always thought that they shot the pilot in a real poolhouse. In the pilot, the furniture in the poolhouse looks different than in the rest of the episodes. So I thouhgt, they used a real house in the pilot and moved into a studio after that.

i really wish that the cohens back yard set was a bit better. its so fake at times. there is a post in the pictures section on a google earth picture of harbour school and the cohens house
