Now that Trey has gone and Kirsten's coming back from rehab ,the writers are free to do whatever they want with the characters. That's why "the aftemath" was a little fast.

I'm actually kind of glad they rushed through the Trey storyline. Having the storyline be about Marissa or Ryan going to jail would have given the show more of a crime drama feel. It would have sucked the fun out of the show. I'm okay with some heavy drama, but they shouldn't start off the season that way. Save the uber heavy stuff for later in the season, and keep the season premeir somewhat light.

It did go a little fast, but I think it was important to the story for them to get the basics of the situation squared away. Besides, the entire situation isn't over and done with. Sure, Trey survived the shooting and is leaving. But there is a lot of fallout to deal with, so, when you really look at it, the story has just begun.

I think it was good, no too fast and not too slow. If they wud have kept Trey longer it wud have become boring, I guess. I think it was a good episode and now season 3 can really start off...

They have to keep it flowing - better too fast than dragging iit out for weeks and weeks.

I agree that Trey should have stayed "ill" for one more episode surely it appeared weird how fast he recovered!!
