Considering The Dvd's

I love making music videos, but I do so with the episodes I've downloaded, and now I want to buy the DVD's (both season 1 & 2 - finally have the money :P) but then I was wondering, do you guys know if I can use the DVD's to make music videos, or will they be copy protected in a way that makes it impossible? Because I know that I can't use music from CD's.. But it would just sucke pretty much to keeep them on my computer, since most of my harddisk is filled with season 1 & 2 from both OC and OTH, and I would like to get rid of them...
Well, if any of it made sense please help me!
