i loved the intervention... and i loved how summer handled everything in the episode. they definately made her much less superficial and added a new nuance to her character.

i loved the seth/ryan interaction. their relationship fuels the show.

i also enjoy when they poke fun of themselves on the show. ryan talked about how he tried to be a different person all year... and for the first 1/2 of the season, i definately saw that. and when seth and summer were on his bed discussing his mother... he thought it was his fault and summer as usual, called him out on his self absorbed ways.

great episode!

I thought it was fabby!
Completely mindblowing at the end and really heartbreaking earlier
I thought Hide and Seek was the perfect song
Some people didn't like it at the funeral but I thought that worked really well then too!

I agree. I enjoyed seeing that side of Summer and hope to see more facets of her character next season. The same with Seth who had been living under the illusion that his family was 'perfect'. It was good character-building for Seth when he was forced to be mature when participating in Kirsten's intervention.

It's kind of funny how in the trailers they make it seem like something else happened. Like when Marissa fell on the glass, in the trailer it made it seem like she died or something.

Best episode of the whole series. It was nice having Jimmy return and it was nice that someone other than Marissa had problems, if you know what I mean. I'm too obsessed with the show, after this episode was over (and after I saw "The Showdown" and "The O.Sea") I was like...shaking. Seriously...how pathetic is that?
