What an emotion filled episode. Josh was rite on the money with this ep. It was like a final covergence for all the characters that left me begging for more. For me it easily tops last seasons finale. Cant wait for Season 3 and hope they continue the series straight after Trey's supposed death (although i personally hope he is dead)

| i loved the episode! it was so so so intense! the very last scene was so good, trey and ryan's fight was so scary, the whole thing was so scary, and i was so shocked when marissa picked up the gun! it was done so well, when the second marissa shot trey, the song 'hide and seek' was played, that make the scene so good! i was left so shocked at the end, it was a really good ending. can't wait for season 3!

WOW- the Dearly Beloved is seriously the best OC episode I have ever seen. When I first saw it, all of the scenes were shown in the first half hour, and I kept thinking "Is this all Josh has got? Where's the drama? Is this it?! But then- WOW! Talk about an ending! I was speechless, hand over my mouth, for, like, ten minutes! It was so sad, yet so intense and exciting- it was a perfect combination! The song they played (Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap) was perfect! I love that song now. I also thought the Kirsten intervention was so sad. Ryan's little speech, and Seth's arrival was sad, but good because Kirsten finally realized that she needed help. I wonder if she's going to come rushing back to Newport. Plus, is Sandy going to be Marissa's lawyer? And is Trey really dead, or just seriously wounded? And how is Ryan going to handle this? Marissa did save his life, but she also shot his brother. That ending really was fantastic. Oh wow- season 3 is going to be so exciting! (Oh yeah-glad Jimmy and Hailey are back!)

i thought it was insane that marissa killed trey. it opens up so much for the next season. its obvious that trey's dead, and i think that maybe next season ryan will be mad at marissa early but then later on will fall for her later.

I thought it was definitely one of the better episodes of this season. I hadn't expected Marissa to shoot Trey, and though I'm glad Trey's out of the picture now, what's going to happen to Marissa? will there be legal complications? What I personally liked about this episode was Seth and Summer. It seemed as if the tables have turned, and suddenly Seth and Summer are th eones who have to keep it together for the sake of their friends and family. The strongest emotional scene of this epsiode for me, was when the Cohens tried to convince Kirsten to go to the institution, and she refused to until she turned around and saw Seth. I don't think I could possibly love Seth more than I did in that episode. Also, the Sandy/Seth scene was really important and I'm glad that there was a connection made between the Cohens as a wrap up to this season. I'm so happy for the Coopers too, since Jimmy and Julie are finally getting it together and maybe this time they won't make the same mistakes with Marissa and actually support her through this. It was as if, their reunion was perfectly planned out so that they could help Marissa at this time. But, I don't think this is the best episode, and it leaves me a bit apprehensive about the third season. It's going to be truly messed up and the only temporary comfort is the stability in Seth and Summer's relationship - which, however, is probably not going to last.

Spoilers never ruin a show for me. I think reading something & seeing how it plays out on screen with the Actors are two different things. I mean that's like saying okay I read 'Interview with a vampire', when I watch the movie will it make it suck for me? lol. So for me Spoilers never ruin a show. The season finale was amazing. I loved so many things about it. I didn't expect the ending at all, and I was shocked to see that happen.
