I was watching the graduate and I'm really confused by Ryan's driving. I remember him saying he couldn't pull over but couldn't he have at least slowed down instead of speeding up to avoid Volchek? I just don't see the logic here.

| looool this is how they wanted to do it: so that in the end marissa to die it could have been Michael Schumacher or any other famous pilot instead of Ryan, but if the director wanted this way,so it was this is a TV show and in a TV show you are allowed almost everything;of course that in real life u would have slowed down,but... btw:why did they killed marissa ?!

Yeah, that pisses me off everytime I see it. It makes a lot more sense to just pullover in the middle of the road even if you can't. I'm sure that probably would have been acceptable. Plus, no one was around anyway.

Ive just started watching season 4 from watching all the OC eps leading up to the finale. And it bugs me too in the last ep of season 3. I always thought (and yes i know they wanted to kill marissa) but if ryan stamped on the brakes when Volchok was about to turn into them, they Volchok would have probably crashed. Oh well.

Oh my god I know. I was so angry about that. I wish he would have just pushed on the brake! But then again the O.C. wouldn't be what it is now.
