She didn't come between them... Johnny did. As well as Oliver back in Season 1. Someone or something always came between them and that's never good for a relationship. Ryan and Marissa were better off without being in a relationship together. Sadie was right for Ryan. Completely drama free, self-sufficient and intelligent. The polar opposite of Marissa and that was what attracted Ryan to her. I think Sadie should have been the girl Ryan ended up with and not Taylor, if that's what was implyed by the series finale.
