I was a huge RM fan, but I actually love Taylor. I dont like her being with Ryan though, because she is way too good for him!

I can't imagine that someone other than marissa is ryan's girlfriend

They were a perfect couple

marissa and ryan are meant to be for sure...they were so perfect
i love the ryan/taylor relationship but i wouldn't like it to be serious between them though, and i dont think it will be, coz of ryan who'll be hurt his whole life...so it'd be weird to see the thing getting serious some months after marissa died.

I agree with Chinogirl completly can't say much more than that. Taylor si fun and all but they don't match.

marissa and ryan belong together and they where one of the reasons why I enjoyed watching the oc so much.

ryan & marissa were meant to be together but she died so he had to move on but in my head ryan had only one true love and that was marissa!

The fact that Josh killed Marissa, changed my view on the show completely. Season 4 just doesn't seem complete, like there is one important thing missing. I think the producers belittled her role in the show to their disadvantage, because her departure is one of the reasons why they had to cancel it.
Ryan and Marissa as a couple contributed with so much, and you can easily tell they had great chemistry with each other, especially in season one. I will never forget that beautiful pair. No other TV couple has ever gotten my attention and interest so fully. Without that relationship, or without Marissa at all for that matter, the show had no future. It had lost its spark.
