absolutely..i think it will get to them(Ryan) later..but since the show doesn't start before november,it may be something some of them have "gotten over".

I don't think there would be any funeral. I imagine the opening scene of Season 4 like this: Ryan lying on his bed, all sad, thinking and Seth (or Kirsten) comes to the Poolhouse to offer him coffee and he says no and you really see he's still on shock

Whether the promising start OC has shown will result in an anticlimax depends on how well the funeral episode is directed in my opinion. With one of the main characters gone I do not see how the OC crew will find sustaining the show easy.

I can't imagine the funeral, as well as I can't imagine season four. I think the crew has to do a really good job to keep people entertained.

I doubt there will be much of a funeral on the episode... I think it will be more about the grieving and healing of everyone, especially Ryan and Julie, maybe they will bond, finally.

the season wont pick up directly, there will be some space. i think that it will probably show us everyones reactions to the tragedy through flashbacks, because there will be quite a distance from the season 3 finale.

i don't think a funeral is a good idea. plus they have to stop with killing off characters at the end of seasons. its going to be so weird watching the show w/out Marissa on it anymore.
