there has to be a funeral. they really do owe us. And since they started this plot they need to end it.

It would suck not to have a funeral for one of the core characters. What they just gonna move in Kaitlin(who sucks btw) and move on. It's nice that they wanna improve the oc but that's just not right thing to do...
Skipping to school would suck but the only thing that would suck even more is seeing it in flashbacks like first episode of season 3... Since OC moves faster then many series maybe it's time to slowdown

I think thier going to do the hole flash back thing were thier flashbacking to the funeral

oh, gosh. the funeral!
it's going to be so sad.

i hope they do some flashbacks, cause those are always nice.
although i wonder whether or not they'll have a lot of julie/ryan problems in the season because of her death [which would just make the season depressing], or have them cry a little and get over it [which is unlike their characters].
it would kinda suck if they had them completely move on or didn't show a funeral.

who knows..

Maybe they will skip the funeral, and see how the characters are coping after everythings been done

Ya- there's not going to be a funeral- josh schwartz has already said that the new season will pick up a few months after the "tragedy"

Yea I really can't even imagine the funeral...poor Ryan and poor Julie.
I'm worried about Ryan because he always seems to feel a little bit responsible for things- like what if they make him feel guilty- if he hadn't ever come to the OC then maybe she never would have died? Even though things aren't his fault, Ryan always wants to make things right.

It's weird but I really wanna see the funeral, i want to see how every characters react.

i hope that it takes place months and months after and then show flashbacks gradually to explain why the present is the way it is, if u understand wt im saying :P cuz characters could change personalities, feuds could have started, ect. that would make things more interesting than just picking up with a funeral in my opinion.
