I'm upset over Marissa's death too, but that's not going to change anything. I'll still keep watching the show. I don't care what anyone else says.

I'll probably stop watching. Even if the show is better quality than season 3's episodes, I started wacthing and became obsessed with the oc because of ryan and marissa's relationship. Each week this season, I would tune in to see if R/M would have a memorable moment, or if they would even get back together. Needless to say, I was disappointed more often than not. Then, I watch the finale, and I see Ryan carrying a dead Marissa in his arms. Now, I have no hope for them to get back together, so I no longer have a reason to watch.

I would never stop watching just because they killed off Marissa, if in fact she is really dead. The show can still be great. You all will see.

I'm not going to stop watching just because she died. I'm going to see how they managed this. I was thinking though, this could be a publicity stunt to drive in more viewers, they could be saying shes dead but shes not to call it "the biggest shocker" or something like that, but probably not.

I admit the show won't be the same without Marissa in it but, that doesn't mean I'm going to stop watching it.

| Senior Member | As much as I think the show will definately not be as good without Marissa, I am still going to watch. Marissa was my favourite character and I think her interesting additions to the plot were what made me so hooked, but I am still interested in all the other characters, and how they will react to her death and how life in the OC will continue without such a central character.

The show is not about one person, it has an ensemble cast. I won't stop watching the show just because Marissa is gone. I will miss her character, but I'm interested to see what direction they go in. I really liked the first two seasons of the show, but season 3 didn't do much for me. It became to predictable. Hopefully Marissa's death will mix things up a little bit. I'm interested to see what happens with Ryan, especially. We'll see!!
