Oc Couple Ask For On-screen Separation

What do you think about this?

THE OC stars ADAM BRODY and RACHEL BILSON have pleaded with the TV series' creator to keep their characters apart, fearing on-screen closeness could hinder their real-life romance.

Brody's comic book-loving alter-ego SETH COHEN split with Bilson's character SUMMER ROBERTS at the end of series one last year (04), and both have been pursuing new relationships.

However, Brody and Bilson are worried their characters are heading for a reunion, so they've asked JOSH SCHWARTZ to steer the plot in an alternative direction, according to British newspaper the DAILY STAR.

well, that's interesting. i doubt they'll have much control over the course of the show, though. i mean, if josh wants seth and summer back together, adam and rachel wouldn't be able to change that, would they? i'm sure this has happened to lots of other actors/actresses. i guess the "professional" thing to do would just be suck it up and do the job.

Yep, definitely agree Obsessive Compulsive. I hope he doesnt do that, I love Seth and Summer too much!

Hmm. I doubt this is true as both of them have already stated how much they care about the Seth and Summer relationship.

Also, the Daily Star doesn't have much of a reputation for accuracy in reporting - you'll notice they clearly haven't talked to anyone of any importance for this particular article.

awwws i think its well sweet! but adam and rachel are too cute! they have to stay together as much as seth and summer! god must be difficult! awww!

how would that hinder their real life romance? I don't really understand that. I also don't think that this gonna stop anything happening between seth & summer.

do you remeber that episode in LA where the Valley Characters were dating on and off set that was an obvious pun on Adam And Rachel i dont think they would let being a couple on or off the show make much difference but they are such a cute couple im glad there getting back together on the OC

well its offical in epsiode 14 that their back together so they have to ride the wave now.
