I'd have to say my favorite is SethSummer, as a unit, haha. Seems like a good number of the people watching this show think Seth's the only tolerable character. And Sandy, because he's just so sweet. Am I the only one to notice that none of the female characters on this show are half as appealing as the male characters? OK, so Summer's cute, and that new chick, Sadie, is obviously supposed to be "cool." But you never get the impression that the show's writers and directors want you to sympathize with the female characters. Kinda imbalanced.

I agree. Although I have to admit for this show to make it to the 3rd season and still have a good following gives huge credence to the creator of the O.C. - I believe he's still in his 20's and to be able to explore all the social topics that he has in these 3 seasons is quite impressive. As an outsider that watches the show occassionally, he does a reasonable job of not creating another class warfare situation with the rich vs the poor (Ryan and the Cohen family) but exposes social issues that occur no matter what class you belong - pretty ingenious and creative. Thoughts?

I love both the O.C. AND laguna beach.. the difference is, the OC all the characters LOOK a lot older than highschoolers

Ha ha, I think the OC folks are older than highschoolers in real life. I heard that Seth and Summer are engaged in real life. Do you think that helps with the onscreen chemistry?
