The WGA strike has put actors and crew members alike out of work, and it seems NCIS star David McCallum isn't happy about it all. "I've always thought of strikes as ‘unproductive.' I've never known a strike yet where people really gain what they lose," McCallum told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tim Cuprisin, eager to end his unexpected break from NCIS, where he appears as Chief Medical Examiner Ducky Mallard. “I think what's happening now is quite apart from the writers, the number of people who have been put out of work in the industry is a vast number.” To read the rest, click here.

Mr. McCallum, I completely agree with you. Wish this viewpoint was more popular; I think it would remedy a lot of consequences from this (or any) strike. I look forward to "Ducky" and the rest of the NCIS team returning!

I am also in agreement with Mr. McCallum. Can't wait for the strike to be over.

I will be very unhappy if Gibbs quits NCIS to join Hollis Mann in Hawaii as expected by some viewers
