Default Naruto Episode 105 - Almost to the Goal! A Thunder Roaring Big Battle!

Title: "Almost to the Goal! A Thunder Roaring Big Battle!"
Naruto Episode 105
Date Written: October 27, 2007
Author: Retsu

This episode starts out as Idate's opponent sits in a shack drinking sake with a couple of women. Aoi pops his head up from the other side of the wall and tells him to get running, since Idate and the Konoha Genin are already dead, and the rain has stopped. Like the spoiled brat he is, he gets up and indignantly says "Fine!". He begins to run, just as Idate and Naruto reach the Modoroki Shrine. Naruto complains that it has "one long-*** stairway". Naruto starts running up the "Heart Breaking Stone Steps" with Idate on his back, and Sasuke and Sakura wonder how much stamina he can have. Boss Jiroucho waits at Modoroki Shrine for Idate, and one of his men tells him that Idate is finally coming, and that he didn't run away after all. Boss Jiroucho responds "Of course." Idate says that despite everything Naruto has done for him, that he still doesn't trust him, and Naruto says that he still doesn't care. They begin to discuss the tenth problem in the Chuunin Exam, and Naruto says that it was a question of whether or not to take the question. Idate has a flashback to when he was writing his first Chuunin Exam. His question, however, was that if they chose to stay, one of the genin in their team would remain a genin forever, if he was the one who gave the worst answer for their team. Idate and his team decide to stay, and everyone that stayed instantly fails. Idate, who can't believe that he failed like that, goes to ask his brother, Ibiki, the examiner what kind of question it was supposed to be. After a short discussion about courage, Ibiki tells Idate that he should quit being a ninja. Idate tells Ibiki that he will, if that's what he really wants, but he has to know why he failed. Ibiki tells him to figure out for himself. Back in the present, Idate tells Naruto that he still hasn't figured it out (not very bright is he?). They reach the top, and Naruto collapses. Idate decides to run the rest of the race from there, and blocks out the pain that he feels from the running. He takes the orb, and starts running again. His opponent is standing at the bridge, and Aoi pops his head up out of nowhere to tell him to hurry because Naruto has reached the Modoroki Shrine. He calls Aoi a useless piece of crap, and is about to get going, when Aoi grabs him by the neck and tells him that if he insults him one more time, he will kill him. He throws him onto the bridge, and Fukusuke starts running again. Aoi jumps up to avoid being seen, and Idate is gaining fast. Suddenly, he is slashed across the chest, and lightning crackles all around his torso. Aoi retracts the Sword of Raijin back into it's handle, and tells Idate that he never expected him to get this far. Fukusuke reaches the other side of the bridge, and suddenly Aoi cuts one of the ropes. He cuts the second rope out of four, and Idate rushes at him, only to be slashed in the stomach. Aoi tells him that the wielder of the Sword of Raijin cannot be defeated, and a mud ball goes flying by Idate's head, and Aoi manages to deflect it with his umbrella. Naruto makes some shadow clones, and forms the Rasengan. Two of his shadow clones run at Aoi, but he kills them easily with his Sword of Raijin. Aoi keeps killing the shadow clones with ease, thanks to his sword. Naruto tries to hit Aoi with the Rasengan, but Aoi blocks it easily, and sends Naruto flying backwards. He shoots Naruto full of needles using his umbrella, and states that his Sword of Raijin can cut through anything. He is about to kill Idate, when Naruto interrupts him, telling him that he is supposed to be fighting him, not Idate. Aoi tells them how weak they are, and there is a flashback that shows Aoi and Idate running towards the Hidden Village of Rain. Aoi suddenly dissapears, and chains wrap around Idate's leg. Ibiki and two ANBU drop down from a tree, and Ibiki tells him to go back to the village and turn himself in. The two ANBU are killed, and Ibiki and Idate are captured by Aoi. He takes them to some abandoned house, and tortures Ibiki with the Sword of Raijin. Ibiki does not submit, and Aoi threatens to kill Idate. Ibiki manages to lure Aoi close enough to him to throw him with his legs. Aoi goes crashing into a pot full of oil, which he smashes with his face. Ibiki pops a knife out of his boot heel, and cuts Idate's ropes with it. He tells him to get out, and that he will deal with Aoi. Ibiki spits out a tiny spark of fire, which is more than enough to light the oil all over the floor. In the present, Aoi tells Idate that he was quite surprised that Ibiki risked his life for such a good-for-nothing fool. He is about to cut off his head, when Sasuke deflects the shot with his Kunai. Sasuke says that he will defeat Aoi. Sasuke forms the Chidori, but Aoi blocks it, too. Sasuke rushes at him with a Kunai in his hand, and they have a short sword/knife fight. Aoi calls him weak, and electrocutes him with the sword. Sasuke tells Aoi to take back what he said, and makes another Chidori. Aoi manages to beat back Sasuke again, but this time Sasuke manages to leave a crack in the Sword of Raijin. Aoi holds Sasuke up in the air with the sword, then throws him toward the bridge. Sakura throws a Kunai, and Aoi jumps out of the way. She rushes to Sasuke, but Aoi cuts the third rope before she can pull him off of the bridge. They both fall off of a cliff, and the episode ends with Naruto screaming Sakura's name.

Sorry that I forgot to put the information on my Episode Summaries, I'll start editing that right now.
