I decided to give a shot at this whole writing chapter summaries for episodes.
The epsidoe begins from where the last episode ended off. After Team sevens meet up with two , diguised, chunnin exam procters, Neji questions Sasuke of his identity to better know of this person who firgured out the illision used earlier by the procters. Sasuke smuggly answers with his own question to avoid answering. Neji instantly becomes enraged at the rookie's attitude but shakes it off, to not cause any problems. Sakura then drags both Sasuke and Naruto to complete their regisitration for the chuunin exams. As they walk away, Lee decides to further his research of the number 1 rookie first hand, and challenges him to a one-on-one match.
As team seven head to the registration area, Lee confronts them to tell them of his motives for interrupting them. He immediantly challenges Sasuke to a match, stating that his reason to fight Sasuke were to test out his own fighting abilities and to impress Sakura Haruno, who he had before-hand asked to be his girlfriend.
Sasuke ,****ily, refuses the challenge seeing it as a waste of his time to fight someone when he had something else to do. Naruto quickly intervenes for Sasuke, saying that it is he that would defeat the spandex-clad person. Naruto hastily rushes forward to Lee in hopes to get a good punch to him, but his fist is swiftly directed in a different direction by Lee's, throwing Naruto off balance. Naruto quickly used his hands to catch his body, and thrusted his legs for a counterattack. Unfortunately, Lee had forseen this and simply dogded the kick, and spin kicked Naruto straight into the nearest wall.
Sasuke amazed by the fact that this fuzzybrowed weirdo quickly knocked out his partner, accepted the challenge he had refused before. Lee, quite pleased that he had gotten the uchiha to accept, stood and allowed the Uchiha the first attack. Sasuke took this opportunity to strike, and charged up to Lee and get up close for a strike. As Sasuke threw a punch toward the face to his oppenent, Lee vanished and reappeared next to Sasuke to deliver a blow, which Sasuke swiftly dodged himself. Lee knew that the Uchiha would dodge his and threw a another kick towards the unexpecting boy. the kick had landed throwing Sasuke a great deal across the room.
Sasuke knew that he wouldn't have a chance to win the battle without have to use his secret weapons. As he stood up, he showed his face to reveal his own pair of sharigans, very much similar to Kakashi, yet it was different becasue they were in bth eyes. Though to Rock Lee, it unfazed him, as though he had seen them a dozen times. Sasuke charged into battle once mor, but this time equipped with his own Sharigan. Unfortunately, this still held no effect on the bowl hair-cutted boy. As Sasuke charged to Lee with an attack, Lee actted first and delievered a blow to Sasuke chin making him airbourned in the air. Lee flew into the air underneath Sasuke to deliever the final blow that would finish the battle. He released his bandages so he could grab on to Sasuke with his move.
As Lee was about to inacted his move, a pinwheel struck one of the bandages pinning it to the wall, thus ending Lee move. When everyone looked to see where the pinwheel appeared from, they saw it came from the direction of a giant tortoise. Lee immediantly dropped down and kneeled in front of the tortoise who threw the pinwheel. The tortoise, who apparently had the ability of speech, told Lee of the use of the 'forbidden' technique he was about to use. The tortoise told Lee he would recieve punishement, but not from him. He would recieve punish from hsi true sensei, Maito Gai. After that being said Maito Gai appeared, in a cloud of smoke, on top of the tortoise. This surprised team 7 to no end. Naruto began to wonder if this was where Lee had recieved his looks from. This annoyed Lee, and he immediantly defended the honor of his sensei.
Gai had halted the agrument between Lee and Naruto, and delievered Lee's punishment, a good punch to the face. Gai immediantly felt mad at himself for his actions, and apologized to Lee and made sure that Lee would not do such rash action again. Lee felt himself with an unbearable amount of emtions, and instantly hugged his sensei in admiration for all he had done for him. Though this surprised team 7 to no end once more, Gai and Lee did not stop for their sake.
After the scene between Lee and Gai, Naruto noticed Lee's unbandaged hand,and saw many scars and bruises on his hand. Seeing that, made him wonder if the fuzzybrow guy trained even harder than he looked. After Lee and Gai left the still stunned team 7 to their business. Just before they left, Lee revealed that he was not the strongest genin in konoha, and in fact, he was merely testing out his strength to see if he was powerful enough to defeat him. Whence both Lee and Gai left, Naruto revealed to Sasuke what he had seen. Naruto expected Sasuke to get nervous but the opposite occured; he was glad for the chuunin exams, it would prove whether or not he was ready...
