Previous episode: Sakura and Chiyo are still in battle with Sasori. Sasori's puppet of the Third is proving to be a handful, and his secret Iron Sand jutsu is nothing to play with. He keeps them on there toes with attack after attack. But we soon see Sasori's luck runs out as his puppet is smashed to pieces by Sakura and her mighty punches. Naruto and Kakshi are still chasing Deidera through the water way. Gai's team is also still fighting there clones. The team is split up and is running out of time.
The episode starts out with the crumbling of the Third Kazekage puppet. His remains fall down to the ground and scatter at Sakura's feet. With the Third smashed to pieces his Iron Sand technique is rendered usless. The Iron Sand falls from it's form of spikes surrounding Sakura. Sakura jumps to Chiyo's aid. Sasori is suprised that she was able to break the puppet. Sakura effortlessly picks the rock up and throws it to the side. Sasori thinks to him self.."This girl should be paralyzed...Is Chiyo controlling her?" Chiyo ask Sakura how she isnt paralyzed. Sakura just pulls a little vile out. "I made an antidote for Kankuro back in the Sand Village." Sakura has a flash back of when she was preparing her antidote. "I never thought there were so many herbs in the Sand Village." The helper next to her responds that it's quite difficult to grow herbs in the soil, especially the type she requested. Sakura says that theres enough to make three bottles of the antidote. Back to the battle Sakura tells Chiyo that she used one of the bottles on Kankuro and one on her self. Theres one left. She knew that the oppenent was a poison user so she came prepared. She also mentions that the amount of time the antidote is effective for is three minutes. During that time no matter how much poison enters the body it will be neutralized by the antidote. "Sasori couldnt know of the existence of the antidote." Sakura says. There chance came when he let his guard down and tried his final attack. Sakura timed it just right before the attack to inject it. She ahnds the other antidote to Chiyo. Sasori tries to piece together what's happening. "Could there be an antidote?" H has a little flash back of his bout with Kankuro. "If you want to live so badly then I wont kill you now, but that poison will kill you in three days." He starts thinking some more. "If they did make antidote it couldnt have been easy." "The poison was very complex to make and the slightest mistake could be catastrophic. They would need as much knowledge as I do to create a antidote." Sasori says to himself. Sakura starts to heal Chiyo. "Im immune to the poison for 3 minutes...we have to finish this battle in three minutes." Sasori racks his brain over how they could have made a antidote in such a short time. "It couldnt be the hag, I know the limits of the helaing withing the Sand Village. Even if it was her she wouldnt be able to make an antidote to my poison that easily." Sasori notices Sakura is a medical ninja. Sasori starts putting two and two together. "Shes from the Hidden Leaf Village and they ahve a very powerful Medical ninja there. The newest Hokage Tsunade....could that brat have made the antidote!?" Chiyo tells Sakura that her arm is fine now. Sakura takes deep breathes as she regains her chakra. Chiyo replays the events that happend earlier. "She has incredible dodging and strength....and she even heals wounds." She says to her self. "All of these require a large amount of chakra." Sakura stands up and starts healing some of her own injuries. "She's at her limit allready.."
Back out with Kakashi and Naruto they trail behind Deidera still. Deidera says that he must show them his true art work with the remaining clay he has left, and to do that the "Copy Ninja" is in the way. Deidera throws his clay minnions into the air. They land on the jumping logs below and jump in there way as they explode in the way of Kakashi. Kakashi looks for a second and analyzes the the little jumping crickets. He determines that its all up to speed. He jumps as fast as he can dodging the exploding crickets. Literally hundreds stick to the logs that he has to jump to and frow on. "Naruto wait up!" Naruto looks back and says "Im going ahead, just catch up!" "Don't do anything reckless!"
Sakura finishes healing her self. "I healed the larger wounds, and I will use the rest of my chakra to fight." Sakura readys her self along with Chiyo. "Let's finish this!" Chiyo roars.
Kakshi si still struggling to get past the clay crickets as Naruto dissapears from sight. Kakashi must get to Naruto before he goes berserk. "If I back up they back up, so I cant gain speed to break through." Kakashi runs backwards hoping there following him. His speed is unreal as he picks up the pace and jumps off a giant log and heads in the opposite direction. (Which would be straight at them) As he was running through them some of them attached themselves to his body exploding. Naruto looks back and wonders what had happened to Kakashi. Deidera syas to himself "One down.." He stops the giant flying clay bird and turns towards Naruto. "Now it's just the two of us." Deidera teases Naruto with Gaarra's body. Deidera does this on purpose to anger Naruto. Just as Naruto is about to attack Kakashi grabs his shoulder. Deidera looks as if he just crapped his pants. He for sure thought Kakshi was done off by his exploding crickets when they hit his body. Kakshi tells him that it wasn't his real body that blew up. Just as he jumped off the log he made a Kage Bunshin and sent it up top to fool the exploding crickets. Needless to say it worked. Deidera like a pansy flies off ahead of them again. Naruto wants to charge him but Kakashi holds him back. "I know you want to get Gaara back but you have to wait and be calm." Deidera says to himself that Sasori will get angry that he underprepared again. Kakashi tells Naruto the deal. "This is probably the worst match up for you. He's long range fighter while you are a close combat fighter. Plus you have never fought a opponent of this calibur. There are two ways to defeat an opponent like this. Either get him in close range or beat him using long range attacks." "But how?" Naruto ask's. "Which ever nethod use choose you need a member in your platoon that is either skilled in long range combat or ahs a technique to make up for it." Kakashis continues. "If neither is true then it is unlikely you will defeat the enemy." There's a little flash back of when Deidera attacked Gaara with the clay homing bird. Kakashi reminds that he was bale to sneek in to the SAnd Village and kidnap Gaara. AFterall he's a member of Akatsuki. Kakashi tells Naruto that they have to create and opening themselves. Kakashi tells Naruto that he has a plan.
Sasori makes his mind up to not use any more human puppets on these two. He starts to open his robe. It reveals that he himself has turned into a puppet. Chiyo says, "Thats why he hasnt aged a day since he left my side." Around where Sasori's abdomen is now a giant cord of some kind. It's true he has turned himself into a puppet. Naruto and Kakashi continue there chase after Deidera. They have a plan and start putting it into motion.
Sasori's tail drips poison from it. His blades extending from his body drips poison. His chest says "Scorpion". Sasori readys himself for an attack against Sakura. Sasori's palms shoot flames out. Sakura and Chiyo dodge behind rocks. He contines to shoot flmaes out. "What will you do now!?..."
