I dont know if the killers are considered indie anymore cuz they've gotten pretty mainstream..Kaiser Chiefs are pretty good.

it's so hard to classify what bands are anymore.

The aim of all bands is to go mainstream really, as they want their music to be heard, and the only way to do that is to go mainstream.

I mean, Indie is mellow rock, Emo is any type of emotional music more or less, such as Indie, Rock etc. It's bloody confusing now.

The ways to classify music has changed from what it was. I mean bands who say they are punk now aren't exactly like The Sex Pistols or The Clash anymore.

yeah its hard to classify bands these days!! i luv kaiser chiefs but i'd call them 'pop' and the killers r basically aswell, of course i dont mean like britney pop, but they r a type of pop kinda!!

Pop stands for "popular" so that meaning the following bands can be classed as pop.

The Killers
Kaiser Cheifs
Kasabian.
Coldplay
Green Day
Foo Fighters
Keane
Etc

I wouldn't call any of them pop music.
