Big Day Out

Has anyone here been to the Big Day Out before or planning to go in January/February, if you live in Australia you'll almost certainly know what it is. For those who don't it's like a big music festival where bands come from all around the world to play. I was going to go to the upcoming one but tickets for the Sydney show have been sold out. If you've been before tell us when you went and what your favourite act was. If you're going at the start of next year tell us who you are most looking forward to seeing.

this years line up is so bgrade, aside from beasties. ive been to a couple, the best of whcih probably 2003.

i cant believe sydney sold out. sicne when has music been 'trendy' and 'cool'? i want it back. it's all jets fault.

im goin in melbourne!! ohh i cant wait!! especially to see John Butler Trio. my friend and i love him so much, espcially his dreads haha. ACDC are goina b there too so thats going to good. i cant wait. im buying the tickets really soon.

Has AC/DC been confirmed? They aren't on the BDO website. Will they possibly announce them at the last minute as a surprise?

I was gonna go to GBO and I still might, but I'd rather go to Rockit cos Greenday and Simple Plan are going

love the line up. last years was better but still going to go this year. it on the day before i satrt skool again so that kinda stinks but still goin to go . the bands playin these gigs rock. would love to go to homebake next year, missed it this year. love aussie music it rocks.

hey i love BDO I go every year last year rocked with MUSE, scissor sisters and metallica.
but next year doesn't really look as intresting as the past years, but still gonna go.
but really cant wait for this years ROCKIT Greenday and Simple plan Headline!!!!!!!!!!!!

so so mad...... :P
