moonlightWhile Moonlight's future is still in uncertain, pending the possible pick up of other networks, fans have something to look forward to this coming fall. According to show writer and executive producer Harry Werksman, who appeared at Moonlight Con during the Memorial Day weekend, the first season DVD will be released some time in September.

The Season 1 DVD is expected to include the entire 16 episodes of the first season of Moonlight.  And while other extra features have not yet been decided, Alex O'Loughlin is certainly set to do commentaries on at least several installments.

Will definitely be buying that DVD ! I want Moonlight to continue on TV but a movie is not out of the question. "He also said that there is no Moonlight without O'Loughlin so fans can be assured that "Alex will be involved in whatever additional Moonlight we get."

Already have put it on my Amazon "Notify me when title is available" list. I will probably be buying several copies of this DVD (at least 3). One to keep, one to share and one to drool over (LOL!). Can't wait!

I can't wait until the DVD is out. Then I'll have something else ot watch while I avoid a certain network. Hopefully by then Moonlight will have been picked up by another network and the DVD can get everyone ready for a second season.

Yes, I'm on the Amazon notify list as well.
And hey...why not a new season AND a movie later on?! In any case, I am planning on buying at least 3 copies of the DVD, for myself and for friends.

Thanks to Harry (and Kyra, Ethan, and Jill) for visiting us at MoonlightCon...what a thrill to meet the wonderful writers who created the show!

I've BEEN on the Amazon waiting list for months in anticipation of these DVD's! I cannot wait and am looking forward to all of Alex's commentaries. Harry, Kira, Ethan, Jill were so amazing to meet at Moonlight Con and were so generous to us with their time and stories, I cannot thank them enough. It was a once in a lifetime experience. COME ON SEPTEMBER! MOONLIGHT ROCKS AND HERE'S TO VAMPIRE SOLIDARITY~~~RAH~~RAH~~RAH~!!! !

I am so looking forward to getting the Moonlight first season on DVD. This is just a wonderful show and I didn't get on board until later in the first season so am looking forward to watching the earlier shows again.
