Fans of Moonlight have tirelessly showed their support to the cult series. Despite their noble efforts to shed their own blood, CBS has decided to put a stake on the show and officially end its chances at a sophomore season. But this hasn't stopped fans from campaigning, hoping to prove that vampires can survive virtually anything, including the capricious whims of network executives. Now, fans are eyeing the Sci Fi Channel as a possible solution to bring back their beloved series to life.According to Harry Werksman, one of Moonlight's executive producers, the Sci-Fi channel is indeed interested in picking Moonlight up. If the series does get picked up by Sci Fi, Mick St. John (Alex O'Loughlin), will reportedly be transplanted to New York City, where Sci Fi is based. However, talks are still ongoing, and nothing has been determined as of yet. To read the rest, click here.

I hope they'll bring back Moonlight, no matter how, because is one really good show. Deserves more than one season.

I can't fathom why they cancelled Moonlight and bring a new series such as "Swingtown" on board. They expect that show to last and do better?? Doesn't even look interesting in my opinion and I can't see how they could evolve a continuing storyline either. I wish I understood what goes on in the mind of a TV executive. They seem so out of touch with the real viewer.

Moonlight is the little show that could - no matter how many times CBS tried to stake it (and the fans) it always came back. CBS failed to promote it (imagine if they'd given Moonlight the attention they are giving this slime "Swingtown"), they ripped apart the creative team (Go Trevor and Ron for standing up for what they believed in and refusing to turn Moonlight into CSI: Transylvania), CBS put it in the death slot (yet the viewers tuned in every week consistently even AFTER the writers strike) - depsite everything Moonlight maintained a loyal fanbase in the States and Internationally. Sorry CBS - stakes don't kill vampires - they only slow us down and make us angry......Any network who picks up this show will get the loyalty, devotion, and money of the fans....something CBS has never earned from us. Ms. Tassler has made some very derogatory comments about the Moonlight fans, and we will not rest until she eats those words.

Thanks for reporting on our efforts. In addition to the Hollywood Reporter ad we also purchased a full page ad in Variety which ran the day following the ad in the Hollywood Reporter. Moonlight is a wonderful show, with a devoted fanbase and just needs a network that will support it and not try to make it into something it isn't. There are millions of fans who are willing to support any network that gives us back our show. I also appreciate that you gave a very positive view of the fans rather than dismissing us as rabid lunatics as some people are wont to do. We are passionate and loyal but we are far from crazy. We are all just tired of networks caring more about the results from the flawed Nielsen system rather than what viewers actually want. And we're willing to do what needs to be done in order to save our show and get the point across that viewers are important.
