It was so disheartening when CBS canceled the show, but the incredible swell of fan support (both Moonlight and Jericho fans, by the way) has been inspiring. SciFi Channel will be very happy if they give the show a home; Moonlight fans will follow it wherever it goes, and we bring our money and sponsor support with us. We're determined to get a second season--and beyond--for Moonlight. Thanks for mentioning our campaign, and for being respectful of us. Despite the way some have tried to paint us, we're not nuts; we're determined, organized, and passionate...and we're not going away.

I still don't understand why Moonlight was cancelled. It was actally succeeding despite all the odds. Where other shows had lost huge audience numbers due to the writers' strike, Moonlight had retained it's numbers. The writing was improving week after week, despite a rotation of show runners, each with a slightly different view of the show. Everyone agreed Alex O'Loughlin was a charismatic and compelling lead. CBS was finally promoting it and getting the leads out there...for what? three episodes into it after hiatus, it was cancelled. Other networks renewed dross with lesser ratings, and CBS didn't have any brilliant offerings for next season anyway. Would it have been so hard to give it another chance?

Hopefully, another network will see what it's millions of devoted fans see. True potential in a show that fills a real void in today's television. Interesting characters that you can actually love intertwined with stories that keep you talking for weeks afterward. Not the instantly

Moonlight is a gem of a show that was not given a chance to shine. CBS's loss can be another network's gain. Moonlight consistently won its time slot and while other highly popular shows lost significant viewers after the strike, Moonlight held steady, with its core audience returning week after week. Eight million fans are happy to follow Moonlight to a new home. This show is unique and I for one am sick and tired of reality shows and procedural dramas such as the CSIs and the Law and Orders. I guarantee you that if another network is smart enough to pick up Moonlight, the fans will follow. Long live Moonlight!

Moonlight is too great of a show to die, and we fans won't let it go - we will fight until there are no options left - but I don't think it's going to come to that. Not all the networks are dense enough to pass on a show with this kind of fan base and following - yeah, come to think of it, only CBS is THAT stupid. I mean, come on....have you SEEN the preview of "The Ex List" - Moonlight's replacement????? It's pitiful. Moonlight will live on somewhere.

Moonlight Season Two (2008-2009)... a dream that I always believed would be a reality! I have watched the growth of this show from a fun escape to (quickly, as in the second episode) a thoughtful, fast-moving, unique drama with a cast that exudes chemistry.

Moonlight is "smart" television: both normal and paranormal crimes, romance that is "off the charts" (my beloved Mick and Beth), funny one-liners (Joseph's snarks), the evil one that you love to hate (Coraline)... even the morgue attendant is an asset to the series! NEVER have I been enamored/connected/in love with a television show as I have with my cherished Moonlight.

Who won the People's Choice Award for best new drama? Who is one of TV Guide's Sexiest? What couple has captured the heart of America?

My heart is hoping that SciFi will do the right thing and consider adopting Moonlight and its family of eight million plus rabid fans.
Thank you Buddy TV for the respectful article!

The stupidest thing CBS has ever done was canceling Moonlight. What they are replacing it with is pure unadulterated crap. This household won't be watching it or anything else on CBS. If and when Sci-Fi picks up this wonderful show they won't regret it. The fans and their money will follow. It's a smart move Sci-Fi so pick up Moonlight and reap the benefits. BuddyTV, thanks for the article and for respecting Moonlight and us as fans.

Well, the move could work, considering that Talbot the new A.D.A. got a list of vampires who are in the L.A. area....let's hope for the best.

I really hope the Sci Fi Channel will pick up Moonlight. It's one of the most captivating and entertaining series there is. I just don't understand why CBS cancelled this PCA winner!

CBS's blunder is potential gold for Sci Fi! There are 7 - 8 million US fans, plus Canada and international. We will follow this show, support the network and sponsors. This show is a gem in the sewer that has become prime time TV. Thank You in advance, Sci Fi!
